Abstract

The metal-free, green and highly atom-economic formal [3+2] tandem cyclization is ideal for sustainable reaction development. It can be employed to synthesize unique 11H-pyrido[3,2:4,5]pyrrolo[3,2-b]indolizines from 7-azaindoles and pyridotriazoles through a TsOH-induced efficient process.
