A colorless and transparent Na3VO2B6O11 crystal with dimensions 19 mm×17 mm×5 mm has been grown by the top-seeded solution growth method using Na2O-V2O5 as the flux system. It belongs to the orthorhombic system, space group P212121, and lattice parameters a=0.77359(9) nm, b=1.01884(12) nm and c=1.25697(15) nm. The crystal birefringence value in the visible range is between 0.037 and 0.042, the UV cutoff wavelength is about 370 nm, and its powder nonlinear optical effect is similar as that of KDP. Na3VO2B6O11 crystal behaves anti-deliquescence, but can be dissolved in acid. It is easy to cleave along (001) faces.
